Memories of School :)
Was doing group chat with all my classmates earlier. It was so nice to catch up after ages. Every one of us have a different life now. Some of them are married, and a few are getting engaged and married end of this year. WOW!!
Seriously, time flies at lighting speed, or maybe faster than that. It was just a few years ago that all of us were these naughty, noisy and talkative bunch of kids.
I'm starting to miss my school life.

Revamped!!
As you can see, I changed my blog header and background to something total opposite of my previous header/background.
I guess it is time for a change :) I love my new layout design, i think it is simple and sweet.

The least we can do is Pray and Hope..
i found this one blog randomly and have been a silent reader ever since. I really like the way the author (Ami) writes. I admire her for the fact that she is determined and unpretentious, and she has awesome dressing sense.
So i read an update about in her blog, that she has suffered a relapse (she has actue myleoiod leukemia). This is her blog. I hope all those who read my blog can pray that God grants her and her family the strength to go through this trying period and also hope that she has a speedy recovery.

Personality Test
My friend Vishpal is always insisting that i am exactly the same as him (the way we think and react) despite me insisting that i am very different from any other person in this world.
So to prove his point, he made me do a personality test here.
Here is my result
It's fun, they even have relationship compatibility test, uber cool. Try it people =)
Have a good day!!

MUET blues. yet again.
I'll be having my last 3 papers for MUET tomorrow (16th April). Prepared? Emmm.. Not quite :p Vishpal gave me a few tips yesterday (thank you!!) and told me to at least learn about the format. Okay, will do that later at night ;)
Anway, the 3 papers are Reading, Writing and Listening. Problems i fear i might encounter for Writing - I'm afraid i might get too excited and write way more than the stipulated length OR I'll suddenly get writer's block and won't know what to write. Listening - I'm super afraid of this one. I'm being paranoid actually, thinking about stuff like what if i cannot hear what is being read? Scary!! Reading - This one should be okay i guess :)
Good luck to all those who will be having their MUET exams tommorow!! And guys, wish me luck!! =)

Courtesy??!!
Was in the train the other day, going back from college. And I saw an Indonesian man giving up his seat for a woman.. I was impressed, i mean many Malaysians don't bother giving up our seat even if the person is elderly or old. Lack of manners?
Anyway, in the bench where only 3 people could sit, there was this old uncle, a young man and 1 lady. And 1 man from India was standing beside me with his friend. And he decided to squeeze himself to sit in between the man and the girl, knowing very well that there was NO way 4 people could sit there. The girl felt so uncomfortable that she got up. and the guy did not even bother, he was happily smiling that he got himself a place to sit.
I was SO pissed and wanted to give him a piece of my mind. But then i was afraid he would not understand my poor Punjabi :/ So just stood there hoping God would knock some sense into his head soon.
Have you come across situations like this? I get really annoyed when people don't give up their seats for those who need it more, and even more annoyed at people like the man i mentioned earlier.
Maybe some people have absolutely no idea what on earth courtesy and good manners is.

M.U.E.T - Speaking
M.U.E.T (Malaysian University English Test)
I just sat for my MUET Speaking exam this morning. Couldn't sleep in peace last night, because I don't like exams, especially speaking exams. I get overly nervous each time. I remember how tensed I used to get before debate, it was not butterflies in my stomach, more like dinosaurs doing samba dance in my tummy, haha. I didn't do much preparation for this. Just went online, read about the format etc.
Anyway, my exam location was in SMK Kepong. I got lost because stupid me didn’t think about getting the address of the school :/ So called the operator and got the school’s number and the staff there guided us to the school. Thank God I arrived in time.
There were about 14 of us taking our exam. I was in Group 2, with 2 chinese girls and 1 indian girl. All of us were talkative, and we started yapping away almost immediately ;) We talked about ourselves, studies and then about the speaking exam. I suggested we strategize on how Part B was going to be done, so we selected 1 person to do the opening (me) and for another girl to do the conclusion.
Waited for about 40mins, and our turn finally came. Was pretty afraid on what topic I will be getting, I have to admit I’ve not done impromptu speeches in over a year so am a bit rusty. Thank God the topic was simple and very debatable. The topic was, If you could watch only one television show, which would be the most beneficial one for you? And my point to argue on was News.
Quite a simple topic, no doubt, but I was SO nervous that I couldn’t think much. Thankfully I managed to think of 4 points and a conclusion. The group discussion went on exceptionally well as all of us had a lot to say, and the fact that we were already acquainted and comfortable with each other really helped.
Overall, it was a great experience =) Looking forward to the remaining exams (Reading,Listening,Writing) which will be on 16th of April
