So i've been missing for a very2 long time, my sincere apologies :) I've been busy, seriously man, busier than i've been in a long long time.
First of all, Happy New Year people :p although it's a little late :) I spent my new year in my favorite city Penang this year, surrounded by a bunch of awesome people :)
January 2011 was a very important month, because on 22nd January 2011, i started my Law degree (part time). Trust me, taking the decision of doing Law part time was not easy. I have very high expectations on myself this time since I'm finally studying something of my own choice. So basically i am working from Monday-Friday and i have classes on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Many have questioned my decision on studying part time and asked me regarding the necessity of me working when i can easily opt for full time studying. My reasoning -
1) Working in a legal firm and studying law, I'll have readily available lawyers and mentors to guide me whenever i have any queries regarding Law.
2) I can make use of all the Law books at my work place.
3) I will be familiar with the whole system of a legal firm by the time i graduate, and I'll be quite experienced too (in Litigation)
4) Time management. Juggling work and studies is no easy feat, so when i get used to managing my time wisely, i know it's gonna be really useful for me in the future.
5)Of course the financial independence and not having to burden my parents.
Having said that, bukan senang nak juggle everything at once. Sometimes i feel so tired, susah gila wanna wake up and go to class and work. Badan pun rasa sakit-sakit, always feel like tak cukup tidur. Selera makan oso hilang entah ke mana. Of course it takes time to get used to all this, but i'm sure i will soon :) Better to suffer now, then later can enjoy :)
In February (during CNY), I attended the Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji Brahm Vidya Niketan Gurmat Samelan. The name is a mouthful, no? Well Samelan is sort of like summer camp. This one was more towards religion. Initially i was hesitant to go, since i susah2 got 6days off from work, wanted to rest and enjoy, but mum said Go!! so had to la :p I was the facilitator there for the Red Group/ Bhai Manjh Ji (Sikh personality renowned for his good virtues especially humility). I got really sick on the first day, was vomiting non-stop and all, thankfully i got better. AND samelan was awesome i tell you!! i think the organizers did a really wonderful job, and all the participants loved it! They were telling us to have reunion or another samlean fast -awww :) And yea, i made a many friends :) Two notable ones are Malin and Amar@Mr.Walia. Mr.Walia finds pleasure in bullying people, haha, so naturally i became one of his victims. He was our official photographer for the Samelan. Oh ya, anyone who needs a good photographer at an affordable price, can contact Mr.Walia of Walia Photograph-E-Diting :p Samelan ended on Sunday,by the time we pack all the stuff and do the cleaning, it was already about 5pm.. sampai KL at about 10pm, super duper tired and next day was working day :( But it was worth it because Samelan was AWESOME!! seriously, i had soooo much fun, looking forward to the next samelan :)
Oh yes, I have a new member in my family :) well sort of.. :p
Meet Nino Retnam-Singh :) Such a cute little darling na? Well, someone was sweet enough to notice that i really2 want to have a dog, and since i can't because of condo rules, the person bought me this adorable baby :) All my family members love Nino, it must be his super cute and innocent look :)
Anyway, 2 weeks back, they had elections in UniRazak for MPP, neash stood for the elections and won!! Proud of him :)
So i guess that is all for now :)
