Death..

my fren kiran's grandpa passed away a few days ago.. May Waheguru bless his soul.. i'm sure my grandpa will be sad too.. u c, kiran's grandpa n my grandpa are best friends.. hope baa is okay now..

whenever any1 talks abt death, my mind immediately goes to sarjit mama n maa.. and ill start crying :(

sarjit mama is mum's brother, he passed away on 22nd october 2008 at d age of 48.. succumbed to esophageal cancer.. he was suffering for about a 1 1/2 years.. for me to see all that was really scary.. his condition was rare for me even though im in d medical line.. u c, because of his cancer, he cud not swallow food or water or even his saliva.. the docs did a small surgery to make a passage sumwhr near his shoulder that goes directly to the stomach, for liquid. but still, for sum1 undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment, good food is very necessary na.. mama lost weight drastically, pretty much looked like an anorexic person b4 his death.. His death was a big blow to mum and sisters, him being the adik manja n all.. as for me, i lost my cool uncle.. my cards buddy, my pinball buddy..

7months later...

God decided to take my grandmother to Heaven.. She passed away on 22nd May 2009, exactly 7 months after her beloved son's death.. Me and my maa, we had a very special bond, i was the youngest and most manja grandchild, she called my Baby and she was my hero :)  i knew she had cancer since 2006-ish but i had this believe in my mind that she was gonna leave forever, watch me graduating, getting married, having kids n all.. Not much cud be done for her treatment as she was very old (94 years old in 2009). I cried like a crazy person during her funeral.. Just couldn't imagine a world without maa.. Till today, whenever the topic abt cancer or grandmother comes up, i feel some kind of unexplainable pain in my heart and ill start crying.. Really2 miss maa,and  i know she is in heaven.. just hope she knows how much her baby misses her..

To everyone out there, my advice is simple, appreciate your loved ones while they are still in this world, cuz you never know when God is gonna take them away from you.. 

As for cancer prevention, its good to lead a stress free lifestyle, have a good diet, refrain from smoking and drinking, and go for regular check ups especially if you have family history of cancer.. As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure..

degree and scholarship

trust me when i say, it was NOT easy convincing mum to let me go to Penang to do my degree. Finally she agreed so now i have to convince jiju to let me go. hope he agrees :) hardest part of this whole process is finding a scholarship! PTPTN only covers 2-4th year of my degree pluz i've already taken loan for diploma. any1 wana sponsor my degree?:P

going totally out of topic, im getting fat and lazy at home while waiting 4 a job.. and life is so not fun without my frens.. super missing nalini now :(

akhirnya, i completed my diploma in Pharmacy.. finals ended on wednesday.. super sad, saying goodbye to all my frens but at the same time happy cuz part 2 of my life is complete (part 3 is degree n so on). and was super excited cuz it was world cup semi final match (germany vs spain).. btw, im a die hard (seriously) fan of Germany since like 1998.. i love the way these guys play, their teamwork and never give up attitude. my fav players are podolski, ozil, mueller, lehman (no more in the squad) and jerome boateng (hez SUPER cute and plays so well :p).. so the whole gang went to aleef maju to watch the match.. every1 was saying spain gonna win cuz paul the octopus (octopus??wtf??) predicted their win. okay, so paul was right. spain won 1-0 AND broke my heart AND made me cry. damn paul, hope u r sushi by now.

feels weird that i don't have anything to study now. and i miss my frens like crazy!! my frens are the most awesome bunch of people :)

awek comel ini is my super duper good friend.. she has always been there for me through my good and bad times.. and she gives really good advice plus she knocks sum sense into my head everytime i try to do sumthing stupid :p im gonna miss her so much when she goes back to kedah :( i love you babe!!

his name has to come 2nd cuz hez nalini's other half :) a very very good friend of mine, more like a brother i never had.. he is the person i talk to when i need advice about guys :p plus he is so funny n sweet and nice, its a pleasure to be his freind :)

well, his name is just mithunesh gunasekar. mr.retnam is his grandpa and mr.suppiah naidu is great grandpa. he likes to be called neash mc, nama glamour. but i think mithunesh is wayyyy better. this guy, is the berangan 1 in d group, always up to date in fashion, and super well dressed wherever he goes. nothing much to say about him here, people close to me know how much he means to me.

why do men ALWAYS take women for granted?? i just dont get it. you say you love us but you don't show.. so how on earth are we supposed to know? trophy wife. beautiful, smart, sweet, nice, willing to compromise, understanding, willing to tolerate their attitude. basically, a perfect 'doll'. men always want the BEST, and when they get sum1 like that, they don't appreciate. When your lady walks away, who is to blame then? Is it our fault to want to be treated the way we deserve and wanting to be treated like a princess? not at all.

this afternoon, the Malay couple at the conso unit below mine were fighting. gila2 fight. i think he was whacking her, i could hear the kids crying.. and this continued until late evening.. super scary..

to all the men out there, treat your girl the way she deserves (like a princess).. we might not be perfect, well so are you guys. love us for what we are. having said all that, im not saying ALL men are like that.. sumtimes in a relationship, it's the girl's fault but this is my luahan hati based on what is happening around me..

it has been ages na..

I wanted to create a blog to write about my life post diploma so that frens and call can keep abreast about d latest happenings in my life.. c c i already register 4 a blog but me being typical 'penyapu baru' me, i forgot about it soon after.. haha.. mid year resolution- start blogging seriously!!

having exam on monday.. im only 50% prepared, super lazy considering that its my LAST diploma exam.. damn, the word last makes me so sad + scared.. 3 years ago, i was dying to graduate, but now... i actually enjoy being in masterskill (seriously!!) the management gets on everyone's nerve like all the time but they have the coolest lecturers (mr.pran, mr.john thomas, mr.nagu, dr.anbu, mr.suraj...) and hostel is super nice (i LOVE lyl3!!)

it has been 3 eventful years.. i made frens, lost some :(.. fell in love out of love in love again :p i would not trade this 3 years for anything!

so...yeah, i have exam on monday so gotta study now ;)
